This Larson Electronics Hazardous Area Dimmable LED Light Fixture, designed and made in the USA, offers operators a powerful and energy-efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaries. Featuring Cree LED technology and a compact design, this lamp serves as an excellent replacement upgrade option for paint booths and hazardous locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present.

The fixture is a 2x2 Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous location lay-in LED light that is ideal for use in paint spray booths and hazardous environments with limited space for lighting. It is T5 temperature rated and a fully integrated LED unit. The LED assembly is protected by an aluminum-framed, hinged, 3/16" thick polycarbonate door that provides direct front access to the internal components.

Designed for recessed mounting, the lamp housing is constructed of non-sparking aluminum with a powder-coated white finish. This Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2 explosion-proof light fixture delivers 17,500 lumens of high-quality light while consuming only 150 watts. The copper-free aluminum alloy body is powder-coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance.

The fixture's special heat-dissipating design, combined with LED technology, helps it achieve an excellent 60,000-hour rated lifespan with 80 percent lumen retention. Its light weight and low profile make it an attractive alternative to larger and heavier older fixtures, requiring less hardware to install.
